Quick one from the crew — this update is less about the games themselves and more about the spaces around them: our Discord, and one of our classic browser titles getting a fresh coat of paint.
Say hello to Martian Bot
Our Discord finally has its own crew member. Martian Bot greets every new arrival, and anyone already in the server can tap the 👋 Wave to say hi button to welcome them — a little ritual that makes a 6,000-member server feel a lot smaller and friendlier.
It's also there when you want to play. Type /tankoff or /airwars and the bot drops the game link, gameplay videos and trailers right into the channel, with more titles being added. And when someone backs us on Patreon, the whole server hears about it — pledges get a shout the moment they land.
If you haven't been by in a while, come hang out and give the bot a wave.
Cow Defender got the full gallery treatment
Cow Defender — defend the herd, blast the aliens — now has a proper nineteen-shot screenshot gallery and new banner art, all rebuilt in crisp WebP so it loads fast and looks sharp. If you've never given it a go, the new page shows you exactly what you're getting into before you click play.
Sharing the site looks right now
One small fix with a big payoff: paste any martiangames.com link into Discord (or anywhere with link previews) and it embeds properly now — game pages show their own art, the studio pages show the Martian Games banner. No more broken thumbnails when you share a game with friends.
On the horizon
A few things we're chipping away at, no dates promised:
- The homepage just got its biggest redesign in years — that's its own story, coming right up.
- Tank Off on Steam — wishlisting genuinely helps us.
- Air Wars: Next Generation and a Motor Wars rebuild are both in the works.
